Post-it Creations

I was at Gramma's house having fun with post-it notes. 

 I made this rocket, flag, and astronaut in honor of Neil Armstrong.  

I still wink at the moon when it is full!

Hoover's Family

Mom took me to the city library today.  The author of this book, Mearl Santos, was there reading her story about Hoover.  After she was done reading, Hoover came in and all the kids got to meet him.  He was a big basset hound and so soft!

Halo House also came into the library and shared a few dogs that were up for adoption. This was Abbit.  He was very friendly and spend a lot of time in my lap!

I wish we could have brought him home!  He was found abandoned and protecting his son.  His son has already been adopted out, but Abbit is still at Halo House.  Hoover kept chasing Abbit until he hid behind Mommy's skirt.  Abbit really liked Mommy.  I think he knew that she was a good mommy, just like he was a good daddy, protecting his son out in the elements.

Monteray Bay Aquarium

We went to Monteray to see Aunt Jami and spend a day at the aquarium.  

 Favorite part: Touching the bat rays as well as a flounder!

 

 We went to the Tour of Lemons Car Show. 

 It was fun to see all the silly cars.

  Also went to Dennis the Menace Park.  

SO FUN!  Can't wait to go back there!

Red Ninja Dragon

My mom is always trying to think of things to make for me. Girls like ruffles, so that is easy peasy. But boys like dragons!!

She made this shirt into a hoodie for my halloween costume. Then she added the dragon a few weeks ago. Yes, I love it!!

My Elf

I named my elf James, after me! That's my middle name. He is so fun to have around the house. Sometimes he does silly things, like turn the milk green. Other times, he helps out like when he cleaned my room and hellped Mom sew my costume for the musical at church.

Last night, he made Christmas mice for my whole class!

Hoedown Day

Here is my Hoedown Day! It was really fun to have Mom and Dad there to watch me dance!

4th Yosemite Post

This is our new tent that Grammie helped us out with. She would rather buy a tent then rent one for three days. This way, we can go again and again!

Here's a pic of me climbing the rocks.

And one of most of us as we climbed and watched the river flow. It was a perfect day!!

We also had a lot of fun playing in the mud, chasing bugs, and jumping in the water!

Mirror Lake in Yosemite was ICE COLD! But it was fun to be there.

Crafting with Mommy

Crafting with Mommy this week because there is no school.

We made these colorful designs and put them on coffee cans. Mom uses one to hold snacks for Daddy and one has scraps for making paper chains, like the one I did to keep track of how close my birthday is!

I also helped Mom color these fish for a virtual aquarium. The design is based on Joel's from his blog. The crab is trying to eat the yellow fish who is going to marry the pink fish. That's the story for today, anyway!ADDED LATER:
We also did some Marble Art. Mom didn't think I would do it for very long, like 5 minutes maybe. But I really enjoyed watching the marble move around and leave paint everywhere!! We ended up doing two paintings and it took a good 45 minutes at least.

Clouds

Mom and I saw an /X/ in the sky as we were driving over to Stockton. It was pretty cool to see. Look towards the bottom of the pic.

The sky was just gorgeous as we were driving home. Notice how clear it was in the first picture, that was around 2 and the next pictures are around 5.

On the way home from Stockton, we could see Mt. Diablo, too, and it was beautiful with the sun peeking through the clouds.

Bowling

Last month, my parents took me bowling for the first time. I have played bowling on the Wii with my Granpa and Grandma, so I thought this would be easy. Turns out, it's a bit harder than it looks, but I had a ton of fun!

I made rockets out of lids from plastic bottles. It was fun to create something while recycling as well. Mom's is the blue one and Dad's is the white one.

Legos

My mom found this site that another five year old posts on. (Well, his mom helps him out, just like mine!)

He makes Lego creations and so do I. I never thought to put them on the internet before. I love watching Lego tutorials, too, from Lego.com. There are some cool creations out there.
